CHD’s mission is to:

Develop, launch, and operate remote monitoring services for at-risk patients, enabling them to be safely followed from home and in real-life conditions.

Empower healthcare professionals with reliable, high-performance, and easy-to-use remote therapeutic monitoring and medical diagnostic solutions.

By integrating and leveraging the most advanced and proven technologies – including smart textiles, dry sensors, interoperable radio and wireless communication systems, service platforms and applications embedding predictive algorithms into end-to-end solutions – CHD enables healthcare professionals to remotely access precise and meaningful indicators for risk assessment and clinical decision-making.

In doing so, CHD brings connected health to the widest possible audience, improving patients’ quality of life regardless of their chronic condition.

Our connected health and remote monitoring solutions, developed and operated either under our own brand or as white-label services for third parties (pharmaceutical groups, Medtech companies, etc.), are all medical devices certified (CE IIa).

MONI2: Challenges

Addressing the challenge of high-risk pregnancies:

750,000 pregnancies and births per year in France and 4 million across Europe.

15% are considered high-risk and require close monitoring through hospital visits, inpatient care, or home hospitalization.

The number of maternity units is steadily decreasing, as smaller units are being closed in favor of larger centers (42% of maternity wards in France have closed over the past 25 years).

Current monitoring and diagnostic tools for assessing the health of the fetus and the pregnant woman require the intervention of a healthcare professional, with only a few exceptions suitable for limited home use. However, these alternatives are often uncomfortable, poorly designed for real-life use, and offer limited sensing capabilities — resulting in insufficient health data for effective monitoring and decision-making.

MONI2: Remote monitoring of high-risk pregnancies

CHD is developing MONI2, a maternal-fetal monitoring belt that is comfortable, washable, and designed for real-life use at home. It integrates a wide array of sensors distributed across the pregnant woman’s abdomen, enabling the collection of multiple key physiological parameters for precise monitoring of high-risk pregnancies:

These indicators are remotely accessible to healthcare professionals through secure online services and a web based service platform, as well as via a dedicated mobile app providing simplified access for patients directly from their smartphones.
